Summer Heat, Handled Indoors

Your Florida summer wedding stays cool, calm, and on schedule inside our climate controlled rooms.

Manor Barn and Garden Room are fully climate controlled, so a July or August wedding at Saxon Manor runs on your schedule, not the forecast's.

The Direct Answer

Two of our three rooms are fully climate controlled.

If you're marrying in Brooksville between May and September, the question isn't whether you'll need air conditioning — it's which venue actually has it. Our Manor Barn and Garden Room are both fully climate controlled indoor spaces, built to keep guests comfortable no matter what the thermometer says outside. Each holds up to 150 guests and runs $15,000 to $21,000 all-inclusive. That range covers the room, not a stripped-down version of it. The price you're quoted is the wedding you get: no separate air conditioning fee, no surprise charge for keeping your guests from sweating through the ceremony. For the full breakdown of what's in that price, see our pricing page.

Our BoHo space is different by design. It seats up to 55 guests at $9,500 to $12,500 all-inclusive, and it's built for couples who want a smaller, more relaxed setting rather than a large hall. If your priority is guaranteed climate control for a July or August wedding, Manor Barn and Garden Room are the rooms to book. If you're set on BoHo, talk to us directly about what a Florida summer will mean for that space before you sign a date. We'd rather tell you that now than have you find out on the day. Compare all three rooms side by side on our pricing page.

Inside Manor Barn and Garden Room, the air conditioning runs through the ceremony, the reception, and every minute in between — it isn't switched on for photos and off for dinner. That matters more in July than people expect. A hundred and fifty guests in formal wear generate heat fast, and a room that can't keep up will show it in your photos before the first course is served. Our in-house staff sets both rooms' temperature ahead of your guests' arrival and keeps it steady through cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, so the only warmth in the room is the kind you actually want.

Why It Matters More In Summer

Florida heat affects more than your guest list's comfort.

Heat and humidity don't stop at guest comfort. A tiered wedding cake left in an un-air-conditioned tent for three hours in August will not look the way it did at your tasting, and neither will fresh florals. Because your ceremony, reception, cake, and flowers all happen inside the same climate controlled room at Saxon Manor, none of it is exposed to outdoor conditions between setup and the final dance. Our in-house chefs build your tiered cake and handle the tasting ahead of time, and our sister company, Enchanted Design & Floral, designs arrangements meant to hold up for the hours they're actually on display, not just for the first photo.

An outdoor summer wedding in Central Florida usually means a ceremony scheduled around the heat, not around your guests' preference, and a rain plan that has to be ready by mid-afternoon whether or not you ever need it. Booking Manor Barn or Garden Room removes that trade-off. You can set your ceremony time based on your day, not the forecast, and your photographer isn't racing storm clouds or asking guests to move indoors mid-reception. If you want to understand how we handle weather contingencies across all three of our rooms, including BoHo, our rain plan page covers it in full.

Climate control also protects the parts of your day that depend on people, not just flowers. Your bar staff, DJ, and event staff are working a full shift in that room, and a space that stays at a livable temperature keeps service moving the way it's supposed to. The same nine-part package applies whether you book in January or July — ceremony, reception, design and coordination, in-house chefs, bar and event staff, photographer, DJ, tiered cake with tasting, and officiant — and none of it changes because of the season. What changes is whether the room you picked can actually deliver it in August heat. See the full list on our what's included page.

Booking A Summer Date

Summer dates for 2026 and 2027 are open now.

We're currently booking weddings for 2026 and 2027, including summer dates. Saxon Manor sits in Brooksville, about 45 minutes from Tampa and 90 minutes from Orlando, which makes it workable for guests traveling in from either metro area without a long drive on wedding day. If you're set on a July or August date specifically because it works for your family's schedule or your own calendar, that's exactly the situation Manor Barn and Garden Room are built for. Reach out through our contact page or start with a tour to walk both rooms before you book.

Part of planning a summer wedding is thinking through the hours before the ceremony, not just the ceremony itself. Our three-room Bridal Cottage gives you and your wedding party a place to get ready that's already climate controlled, so hair, makeup, and photos before the ceremony happen somewhere comfortable rather than in a hot tent or a car in the parking lot. It's a small detail that matters more in August than it does in November, and it's included as part of the property, not an upgrade you have to ask for.

We're a family owned company, and weddings are the only business we run — this isn't a banquet hall that also hosts corporate events and quinceañeras. That focus is why we built two rooms specifically to handle Florida summers instead of asking couples to gamble on the weather. If a climate controlled room is what your date requires, Manor Barn and Garden Room are the two to look at first. If you want to see what past couples said about how the day actually felt, our rating reflects that directly.

What Air Conditioning Actually Protects

Climate control covers more than the guests in their seats.

  • Guest comfort through the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception
  • A tiered cake that holds its shape past the cutting
  • Fresh floral arrangements that don't wilt before your last photo
  • Formal wear, hair, and makeup that look the same at 9 p.m. as they did at 4
  • Bar, DJ, and event staff able to work a full shift without the heat slowing service
  • A ceremony time set by your schedule, not by the day's forecast
