What we collect, and what happens to it.

A short policy, because this site does very little with your data. We collect what you type into the tour form so we can call you back, and that is close to the whole story.

What we collect

Only what the tour form asks for.

When you submit a tour request we collect your name, email address, phone number, the venue you are interested in, your guest count, your preferred date and anything you write in the notes field. Nothing else is collected about you, and there is no account to create.

You can browse every page on this site without giving us anything.

Where it goes

Onto our own website, and into one inbox.

Your submission is stored on this website and emailed to the Saxon Manor team so somebody can call you back. That is the entire journey — what you type into the form is not passed to the measurement tools described further down. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers.

If we later connect a customer relationship system to manage inquiries, your details may be stored there as well, for the same purpose: answering you and arranging a tour.

How long we keep it

Until it stops being useful.

We keep tour requests while they are live inquiries and for a reasonable period afterward, because couples often come back to us a season later. If you want yours deleted, email savethedate@saxonevents.com or call 813-909-3414 and we will remove it.

Cookies and third parties

No advertising trackers on this site.

This website sets the functional cookies WordPress needs to serve pages and process a form submission, plus the measurement cookies described below. It does not run advertising or retargeting cookies, and it does not build an advertising profile of you.

The venue tour video on the home page is hosted by YouTube, but it does not load until you press play. Until you do, YouTube receives nothing and sets nothing. Links to our Google Business Profile and our social accounts are ordinary links; once you follow one, that company’s own privacy policy applies rather than ours.

Measurement

We watch the website, not you.

We use three measurement tools, and we would rather name them than hide them behind the phrase “third-party analytics”.

Google Analytics counts visits: which pages get read, how people arrive, roughly where in the world they are, and what kind of device they used. It sets a cookie so a second visit is not counted as a new person. Google Search Console shows us which searches bring people here. It sets no cookies and sees no individuals.

Microsoft Clarity is the one worth explaining properly, because it does more than count. It records a replay of a visit — the pages, the scrolling, the clicks, where a cursor moved — and builds heat maps out of many visits together. We use it to find the parts of the site that confuse people.

Session recording

What the replay does not capture.

What you type into the tour form is masked before it leaves your browser. Your name, email address, phone number and anything you write in the notes box are hidden in the recording — we can see that a field was filled in and where people give up on the form, not what was in it. That masking is written into the page itself, not left to a setting.

The replay is not a video of you and there is no camera, no microphone and no keystroke log. Clarity does not sell what it collects.

If you would rather not be part of it: Clarity and Google Analytics both honor the “Do Not Track” and global privacy signals your browser can send, most browsers can block these scripts outright, and Google publishes a Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking any of it changes nothing about how the site works for you, and nothing about how we answer your tour request.

Your choices

Ask us and we will act on it.

You can ask what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. There is no form for this and no waiting queue — email savethedate@saxonevents.com or call 813-909-3414.

This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
