Why it is built this way
A referral list is a list of people you have to manage.
Most venues hand you a preferred-vendor sheet. It looks like help, and for some couples it is — but every name on it is a separate contract, a separate deposit, a separate cancellation policy and a separate person who needs your timeline.
Here the food, the bar, the staff, the coordination, the photography, the DJ, the cake and the officiant are inside one number and one agreement. You are not the project manager on your own wedding.

The food specifically
How the kitchen side runs.
Your menu is built, not chosen
You are not picking package B off a laminated sheet. The chefs work with you on what is actually being served.
A tasting is included
Cake included too, with its own tasting appointment. Both are in the package rather than added to it.
Dietary needs are a conversation
Because the kitchen is ours, an allergy or a restriction is handled at the tasting instead of surfacing as a surcharge from an outside caterer.
The bar is staffed by our people
Bartenders, servers, setup and cleanup crew. Alcohol service runs under our license, not yours.

Which is the same arrangement as the kitchen: not a vendor you are introduced to, but a team already inside the building who have set this room before and know what it needs.
