The Direct Answer

Saxon Manor doesn’t host overnight guests on-site, and here’s what that means for your planning.

Saxon Manor is a wedding venue, not a hotel, and we don’t have overnight guest rooms on the property. The only lodging-style space here is the three-room Bridal Suites, and they’re built for the day of your wedding, not for sleeping. Couples use them for hair, makeup, getting dressed, and a quiet place to breathe before the ceremony starts. They close down after the reception ends, the same as every other space on the grounds. If you’re picturing a venue where the wedding party stays overnight, that’s not what Saxon Manor is, and we’d rather tell you now than have you find out during a tour. That clarity is part of the same approach we take with pricing: the price you’re quoted is the wedding you get.

Brooksville has its own hotels and motels, the kind of small-town lodging you’d expect from a county seat that isn’t trying to be a resort town. None of them are run by us, and we don’t manage room blocks on your behalf, so treat that research as its own task on your planning list, not something that happens automatically because you booked a venue. Ask about group rates directly with whichever property your guests choose, and do it as soon as your date is confirmed, since Brooksville doesn’t have unlimited rooms and a Saturday wedding can compete with whatever else is happening in Hernando County that weekend. Give your guests the address, 103 S Saxon Ave, Brooksville FL 34601, and let them map their own distance from wherever they land.

None of this is a reason to worry, it’s just a reason to start early. Guest lodging, transportation, and room blocks are exactly the kind of logistics we cover in more detail on our guide to planning for your guests, which walks through how to communicate distances, timing, and options to the people you’re inviting. Think of accommodations as a separate project that runs alongside your venue planning, not a line item inside it. We can tell you what’s fifteen minutes down the road versus what’s closer to the interstate, and we’re glad to talk through it on a tour, but we won’t invent availability or pricing for properties we don’t run. What we control is the wedding itself, and we’d rather be precise about that than vague about everything.

Beyond Brooksville

Tampa and Orlando widen your lodging options, and both are worth considering.

Tampa is 45 minutes from Saxon Manor, and for a lot of your guests, that’s the more useful place to book. Tampa has the airport, the interstate access, and a much bigger hotel market than Brooksville does, which matters if half your guest list is flying in from out of state. A Friday night in Tampa gives people a real evening out before the wedding, and a Saturday night there after the reception means they’re not driving unfamiliar county roads at eleven at night. If your guest list skews toward people who don’t know Florida, pointing them toward Tampa for lodging is often the simplest advice you can give them, even though the venue itself sits closer to Brooksville.

Orlando is 90 minutes out, further than Tampa but still a realistic option, especially if your guests are already treating the trip as a Florida vacation. Families flying in for a Saturday wedding sometimes build a few extra days around it, and Orlando’s hotel supply, theme parks, and direct flights from almost anywhere make that easy to plan on their end. The tradeoff is the drive: ninety minutes each way is a real commitment on the wedding day itself, so if you route guests to Orlando, tell them plainly and let them decide whether that extra distance is worth the rest of the trip. We’d rather you make that tradeoff on purpose than have someone find out about it in the car.

Either way, book early. We’re currently taking dates for 2027 and 2028, and if you’re that far out, your guests have time to plan lodging properly instead of scrambling the month before. Send the venue address, the two drive times, and a plain recommendation — Tampa for convenience, Orlando if people are turning it into a trip — as soon as you send invitations, not buried in a wedding website nobody reads twice. The couples who handle this well treat it as one short paragraph in the invitation suite, not an afterthought. It costs you nothing and saves your out-of-town guests a genuinely stressful search two weeks before your wedding date.

What’s On The Property

The Bridal Suites are prep space, not a hotel, and here’s what your package actually covers.

The Bridal Suites have three rooms, and each one is meant for a different part of the day rather than for sleeping over. One works well for the bride and her party getting hair and makeup done, another gives the groom’s side its own space instead of squeezing everyone into a single room, and the third functions as a quiet buffer — a place to store dresses, steam a suit, or just sit down before things get busy. It’s part of the grounds, staffed and prepared the same day as your wedding, not a separate rental you book on its own. Think of it as the calm before the ceremony, not a place anyone spends the night.

That’s a fair place to draw the line on what a venue fee covers versus what it doesn’t. Saxon Manor’s packages are built around the wedding day itself: ceremony, reception, design and coordination, food, bar, photography, music, cake, and an officiant, all handled by our team so you’re not chasing separate vendors for each piece. Lodging simply isn’t part of that list, on this page or on our full breakdown of what’s included, and we’d rather say so plainly than let you assume it’s covered and find out otherwise later. If a venue’s price seems to include overnight rooms and everything else, ask exactly what that means, because vague inclusions are usually where a quote goes wrong.

None of this is complicated once you separate the two decisions: where the wedding happens, and where people sleep. Book Saxon Manor for the first one, and give yourself real lead time for the second, especially with weekends this far out already filling on our calendar. If you want to see the Bridal Suites and the three venues in person before you commit to either decision, call 813-909-3414 or set up a tour, and we’ll walk you through exactly what’s on the property and what isn’t, room by room, with no guessing involved. That’s the same standard we hold for pricing, and it applies just as much to something as ordinary as where your guests will be sleeping.
