Is the Manor Barn worth your Saturday?

The largest of the three rooms, up to 150 guests, $15,000–$21,000 all-inclusive. Here is who books it and who does not, so you can decide before you drive out.

What you walk into

Draped, chandeliered, and climate controlled.

Long farm tables under crystal chandeliers, in a private wooded setting. It is a barn in structure and not in temperature — the room is climate controlled, which in Hernando County is the difference between an August wedding and an August ordeal.

At a full 150 it still reads as a room rather than a hall, which is the thing couples say most often after a tour and the thing photographs are worst at showing.

Book the tour if

This is the room for you.

  • Your guest list is heading past 80 and might reach 150
  • You want an evening reception with real dancing, not a seated dinner that ends at nine
  • You want the rustic frame without the rustic discomfort
  • You would rather one number covered everything than manage nine vendors

Skip it if

Two honest reasons to look at a different room.

If your list is under 55, the BoHo is a better room and a smaller number — $9,500–$12,500 rather than $15,000–$21,000. Booking the Barn for 40 people is paying for space you will spend the night trying to fill.

If you are set on a daytime ceremony with garden light for photographs, the Garden Room is glass-walled and open to the grounds. Same capacity, same package range, different day entirely.
