Is the Garden Room worth your Saturday?

Glass walls, gardens on the other side of them, up to 150 guests, $15,000–$21,000 all-inclusive. Here is who books it and who does not.

What you walk into

A room that photographs itself.

Glass on the garden side, so the grounds are the backdrop without anybody standing in them. Ceremony and reception can both happen in here, which means no room flip and no twenty minutes of guests standing around holding a drink.

It is the brightest of the three rooms by a distance. If your photographer has ever complained about a venue, this is the answer to it.

Book the tour if

This is the room for you.

  • You want a daytime or late-afternoon ceremony with real light
  • Photographs matter more to you than a late-night dance floor
  • You want the outdoors in the frame without the outdoors on your guests
  • Your list is anywhere between 60 and 150

Skip it if

Two honest reasons to look at a different room.

If the whole point of your evening is a dark room and a loud one, the Manor Barn does that better. Same capacity and the same package range, but it is built for the end of the night rather than the middle of the afternoon.

If your list is under 55, the BoHo is the right room and a smaller number.

The detail, and the other two rooms.
